Do You Want Quality…Or Quantity?

by Lady J. Coulter
Health care is on everybody’s minds right now, as it should be. There’s the Democratic Plan and the Democratic Plan. No, I did not mess up! There isn’t any difference between the two except for what part they want to disguise as something else.
I have a major problem with any plan at all! I admit that our health care is not perfect but it is still the best in the world. What we have now could be tweaked into something more acceptable to everyone without breaking Constitutional Law and turning our country into a socialist society.
When I was growing up, I was taught that I could buy the item that said “made in Japan” (which was always a poor quality item that broke if you looked at it wrong…at that time) or I could spend a little bit more, buy the quality item and know that it would last for a long time. Well, being a kid, I went for the cheap stuff for a while until I got tired of replacing or fixing it. But I finally wised up.
Now our government is trying to force me to buy the cheap health care. Have any of you ever looked at the Medicaid and Medicare coverage? They have refused more treatments to people than any regular insurance company! And the waiting time is horrible! I used to sit in the doctor’s office for up to eight hours at a time! And if you don’t want Medicare, then, they take away your Social Security, too. Tell me…why don’t seniors have the right to buy the insurance they want?
This is wrong…it’s Unconstitutional…it’s illegal and it’s anti-American. I want quality care for my grand-babies! If they break because of poor care…I can’t fix it!
Quantity isn’t worth it to anyone if they lose quality. I want doctors who have had years of training, quality nurses and cutting edge medical tools. I can not abide a “banana-republic” medical staff that can’t even take your temperature without asking the government if they are allowed to perform that act!
Quality or quantity…you decide. I choose Quality!
